Fall is almost gone and it's feeling more and more like winter.
I'd like to talk about the colder weather. When the temp drops outside, mice and critters look for warm places. One of the warmest places would be your dryer vent.
When the termination to the outside gets obstructed, this allows the damper or louvers to stick open. When this happens, we all know what's next. No one's favorite friends come in (mice). I see this happen most on terminations of 4' and down, on the outside of the house. I can prevent this from happening to your home!
I look forward to working with you. Don't forget that inspections are free. Call you schedule yours, today.

This is an FYI from The Dryer Vent Dude:
Every load of laundry has 1/2 to 1 gallon of water that the dryer needs to remove. This can only happen when adequate air flows through the dryer vent. You can tell when the air flow is inadequate when the dryer takes more than one cycle to dry a load of clothes.
You can always count on The Dryer Vent Dude to take care of the problem. Inspections are free. Call Steve, The Dryer Vent Dude, with any questions at (402) 310-9530.

The Dryer Vent Dude has a heads-up for everyone!
If your dryer takes two cycles to dry your clothes, it is costing you too much money! After I clean your dryer vent, you should be able to dry the load in one cycle. That will cut your dryer costs in half, reduce the wear and tear on you dryer and clothes, not to mention, make your home MUCH safer.
Inspections are free. Call Steve, The Dryer Vent Dude for an appointment at (402)310-9530.

Today I will talk about air conditioners and coils. If you want to get the most out of your air conditioner while using as little electricity as possible, you need to have the system cleaned and checked. The Dryer Vent Dude will clean the outside condenser and the inside coil and condensate line and make sure the refrigerant levels are good. We will discuss if any refigerant is needed. If you need a filter or are interested in a six or twelve month supply, let me know. I only use good, commercial grade filters that should be good for 3 months, under normal usage. I will also check the blower wheel and motor of the furnace and oil if needed.
When I am there, I would like to check your dryer vent to make sure it is safe and in great working condition.
The Dryer Vend Dude can also change your thermostat, if needed.

Today, I will talk about fire safety. I have cleaned many dryer vents that are completely plugged. When a customer calls, I like to ask how the dryer is working. Sometimes, they say it takes 2 or 3 cycles to dry clothes. That may be a fire waiting to happen, and that is when you need The Dryer Vend Dude. There are some signs to look for, then you know you need my help.
- Lint out side, on you dryer vent cap or on the ground.
- Lint build-up in your utility room.
- The sides and top of your dryer are hot.
- It takes more than one cycle to dry a load of clothes.
A couple of weeks ago, there was another dryer fire in a Lincoln apartment building. People need to understand that their dryer vent needs regular maintenance, just like your car or your lawn mower. The Dryer Vent Dude would like you to know he is there for you. I will give you superior service with a smile. Please, call to find out about my competitive pricing and let me go easy on your budget.

With today's economy, people need to be budget minded and that is where the Dryer Vent Dude can help. I can clean your dryer vent, or your air conditioning system or both. The more I do, the more you save. These are things that should be cleaned at least once a year. There are times when you air conditioner should be cleaned twice a year.

I would like to tell everyone what separates The Dryer Vent Dude from other companies. First, we don't charge overtime AND we work on weekends and evenings.
With the service we provide, we use a vacuum and auger system to clean the lint from the dryer vent. We pull out the dryer to clean and inspect the dryer vent. We always leave the job cleaner than when we arrive. We will always go the extra mile to make sure the unit is working properly and hopefully this will save you a service call to the repairman.
If you purchase a new dryer, give us a call to disconnect your old dryer and clean the dryer vent before your new dryer is installed. This will give your new dryer a great start and will help with fire safety and energy efficiency. You know, if you leave all the old lint in place for your new dryer, not only will it not run effeciently but it could ignite and burn your brand new dryer. Let The Dryer Vent Dude help stay safe and go green!
